Dr Kane Fraser - Chiropractor/Podiatrist

After running multiple successful clinics in the country Kane Fraser moved back to Melbourne in 2022 and took over Chiropractic Helps, now operating as Kew Chiropractic.

Kane’s chiropractic journey began when he was a teenage athlete. After a poor performance at an event due to lower back and leg pain, Dr. Fraser (Chiropractor & Podiatrist) had his first consultation with his local chiropractor. After nearly immediate pain relief and resultant improvement in performance Kane realised the benefits of chiropractic. Having played every sport as a child and being an AFL footballer (Hawthorn/Sydney), Dr. Kane Fraser (Chiropractor & Podiatrist) has had the opportunity to work with some of the elite practitioners in the industry, allowing him to gain valuable knowledge to pass on to his patients.

With over 20 years of clinical experience as a Chiropractor, Kane utilizes many treatment modalities, including massage, dry needling, trigger point therapy, activator and blocks to treat the cause of the pain or condition.

Kane Fraser has a special interest in gait analysis of the pelvis and lower limb. So much so that he went back to university and is also a qualified podiatrist in Kew these days too.

Dr Peter Ganakas - Chiropractor

Dr. Peter Ganakas has over 15 years of experience working in the healthcare industry. During his studies and after graduating in 2004, Peter worked with Victorian Soccer Teams, spending over a decade as the Chiropractor and Head Medical Staff for several sporting clubs. In addition to treating athletes, Peter has also been the emergency chiropractor for entertainers performing in Melbourne while on tour.

Peter isn’t just your traditional Chiropractor. In addition to spinal manipulation, he uses soft tissue techniques and trigger point dry needling to alleviate surrounding muscle/fascial tension and prescribes exercises and nutritional support to strengthen and restore function.

Peter has a special interest in low back, hip and pelvic conditions. He has helped many patients with conditions related to this area but strongly believes it is just as important to recognise conditions that need to be referred for alternative or surgical intervention.

Education
Peter graduated from RMIT University as a Chiropractor with special interests in sporting injuries. Peter completed his certification as a sports trainer and massage therapist while at university and was able to gain invaluable experience working with sporting teams.
